Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
