What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
